Introduction to Social Media for Media Professionals
Posted on 22. Jan, 2010 by Chi-chi Ekweozor in Events, Social Media Strategies

I’m pretty excited about this! Starting next month, on Wednesday 10th February to be precise, I will be running a new social media training course aimed squarely at the media industry in the North West.
The new Introduction to Social Media for Media Professionals course, designed specifically for digital media professionals considering use of social media within media projects, builds on Real Fresh TV’s success with the UK’s longest running ’social media for beginners’ course: the Social Media Starter Course.
Along with an assessment of workable strategies for developing multi-platform content, the course concludes with an introduction to the rigours and demands of creating content for multiple platforms.
Read on for details of the course and how to register.
What will you learn on the Introduction to Social Media for Media Professionals course?
- Practical actionable steps for putting social media into the heart of your media projects.
- How to develop a social media strategy that can be integrated into a traditional broadcast media project.
- Demonstrable benefits of using social media complete with UK-specific case studies and examples.
Some interaction with a web panel is integrated within the delivery of the course with attendees sharing social media content with a digital panel of experienced social media enthusiasts using Twitter.
When is the next course?
