Introducing Dan Crabtree

Hi, Dan Crabtree here.

Just a little info on myself.

I am a recent graduate from the University of Salford where I studied a Professional Sound and Video Technology degree. A lot of my interests lie in the Media, Technology, and Computer industries. I am interested in new media technologies and how broadcasting is adapting to the download generation, and especially how companies are utilising the use of web 2.0 tools to feed the demand from consumers.I currently took up place on an internship for Real Fresh TV, working along side my other colleges to bring you reviews on Social Media Usage Amongst FTSE 100 Companies.

Each week I will be uploading my latest findings to the blog, expressing my views and opinions on how companies are now using social media for marketing strategies, and how improvements could be made, where possible. So please follow the link on my name up above and follow me on Twitter where I will uploading the links to the latest articles, and so anyone with any interest in the articles can put their suggestions across to me, after all I am reviewing companies on how well they handle their social media interaction so the least I can do is ask anyone with any questions or suggestions to drop me a line via Twitter, Facebook or directly through the comments page.

Through this work I hope I will become to have a better understanding of the social media networking and hopefully will be able to present some ideas of my own on the future of online marketing and what it means to have an online presence.

I will be keeping a blog of my own on my own website where I intend to write other articles on the subject in other areas of the media industries. If I haven’t put a link up for that now, be sure one will be coming in the not so distant future.

Anyway I’ll leave that there for today, remember folks follow me on Twitter and I’ll do likewise. I will be most grateful if I could get some feedback on my articles that I have written and published, either from the companies directly or anyone else that is interested, is there something missing? Something I should have written about in a different way? Or anything that could be improved upon, then please let me know. Remember to follow me on Twitter and I will do likewise.
