Creative Bradford

“Chi-chi has now delivered three workshops for us on using the internet and social media to promote one’s work, geared to artists and filmmakers, as well as taking part in a panel discussion on Alternative Platforms for Distribution as part of the Bite the Mango Film Festival at the National Media Museum in Bradford.

Chi-chi is incredibly energetic, extremely knowledgeable and always on the pulse of what’s up-and-coming in social media.  I can’t recommend her highly enough, and I find working with her to be an absolute pleasure. - Alissa Juvan, Development Manager for Fabric, the arts development organisation for Bradford.

What People Are Saying About our Training Courses

“It was a great course and useful introduction into the world of social media. I would certainly recommend these courses to anyone who is in the business of marketing and communicationing to their customers on-line”.
Alison Gilbody, Instil Media

Very friendly, knowledgeable trainer, small group made it very easy to ask “silly” questions without fear of embarrassment and meant that really individual issues could be discussed in detail.Sally Bowden, Together Trust

“I thought the course was really good.  It kept pace well and covered a lot of different aspects.  For a complete beginner (like myself) it was useful to get all of the background information about Social Media.  It was also good to get an understanding about how the different online platforms (traditionally associated with personal time) are growing into valuable online marketing tools.  I think the business angle of the course was very interesting and the technical aspects dealt with in an ‘easy to absorb’ manner!

As a marketeer, it is essential that I have a grasp of the new ways people are communicating with businesses and customers alike, this course provided a strong foundation for that.

Thanks again Chi-Chi, I look forward to working with you again! ”
Michelle BaldwinConcise IT

“I found the content of the  course exactly what I needed and benefited from the small group size.”
Christine Graham,  Christine Graham Consultancy Ltd

“I found the course very useful and it gave me what I needed. I now need to implement my new found knowledge. I enjoy your presentation style and you make everyone comfortable and at ease. I will book on the next course as soon as possible.”
Chris Conboye, Cat3Systems

“You tried to do too much on Thursday I’d have been happier paying a bit extra and spending the day covering the areas in more detail.

I think you’re a brilliant resource for us but we need to take time to work out how to apply your[s] and our newfound expertise.”
Simon McLoughlin, Blackbridge

“A major plus side of the course is the benefit of having small class sizes, it allows plenty of 1-2-1 training from Chi chi, which therefore allows learning outcomes to be tailored and more relevant to your needs and company objectives.”
Tarryn Gregory, CRS Ltd

I really enjoyed the course, it was extremely engaging, with a good mix of learning methods. It has taught me invaluable tips for Twitter and blogging, as well as how to make the most out of social media monitoring tools. I now feel confident in devising and implementing a social media campaign for my clients.
Laura Beccaria, MC2

I really liked the hands-on method and the small group environment – it meant that Chi-chi was able to give us all plenty of attention. Some of the course was a bit basic for me but I picked up some good tips on Linkedin and blogging, as well as being introduced to Hootsuite. Thanks.”
Rachel McCollin, Compass Design

“With a few clear examples people seemed to understand how it applied to their own enterprises.”
Peter Hartey, Poetic Republic

“This course was absolutely brilliant as an introduction in layman’s terms to a very complex subject, and I was lucky enough to have one-to one tutoring on the day, which was a luxury! Chi-Chi was a delightful trainer, exceptionally knowledgable and also extremely approachable, so I did not feel awkward asking so many questions!

In terms of how it could be improved my only criticism is that there is an awful lot of content and slides to get through in a short space of time. Perhaps if you did a questionnaire that delegates have to complete with details of their particular learning objectives and main question(s) they want answered, the course could focus more on that rather than trying to cover a bit of everything to do with Social Media.”
Lorna Rose

“Thank you for a very informative session today. I really enjoyed it and have put it to good use already.”
Danielle Trachillis, Ma Baker @ World of Water, Blackpool

“I enjoyed the course and discussions and came away with good ideas and plenty of action points.”
Richard Wilkinson, Media Wow

I really enjoyed learning more about twitter and getting to grips with the up and coming world that revolves around social media marketing.
Nikki Bell, Klenzan

The last two days were so informative – it solidified the concepts I already understood and gave me a good grounding on some unfamiliar areas. It was really helpful, and the industry guests were also encouraging and inspiring. Thanks Chi-chi!
Jess Perriam

Chi Chi was an excellent (and very patient!) course leader and was really helpful throughout. I would definitely attend another course.
Kat Jones, MC2

Very friendly atmosphere and moved at a pace that suited everyone, the small group worked well as I think we all received the individual attention and help we needed.”
Heather Burgess, PacaPod Ltd

“So much to take in which was good but felt a little over loaded at times. Think it could be spread out into 5 training sessions rather than 3. BUT, really enjoyed it, learned loads and have already put this into practice! Would certainly recommend to other people”.
Kristin O’Mara, Blackbridge

Having had no idea on what Social Media was all about, the starter course was perfect to introduce me to this exciting new world.

I can’t really think of anything to improve it with but I might have preferred to have a copy of the slides while the course is taking place which would then allow me to write down some notes when discussing some points… Otherwise, I was very happy and it was definitely worth the trip from London!”

As a total beginner I benefitted from the group being small. I was free to ask questions and discuss points without feeling I was intruding of other members time. Although I think I should have made more notes…
