Real Fresh TV, an Internet TV and social media consultancy based in Manchester, UK is offering one lucky winner a free iPhone in the UK’s first iPhone Giveaway.

To enter the UK’s first iPhone Giveaway:

  1. Vote in the online poll below.
  2. Leave a comment telling us which TV show you would most like to watch on an iPhone.

That’s it!

Here’s why are we doing it.

Polling ended.

Results: more than 7 out of 10 voters would watch a music TV show like Transmission with T-Mobile online as well as on terrestrial TV.

Total Votes cast: 139. Votes in favour: 106; Votes against: 33


Competition rules: UPDATED Friday 16th November 18:10 GMT

  • Only one entry allowed per person.
  • We have now enabled only postive comment voting to resolve problems with malicious voting down of entries.
  • The TV show must have aired on UK television at least once in the last 80 years.
  • We have had to extend the deadline one final time due to problems with voting today.
  • The comment that has the most votes at midnight on Sunday 18th November wins!
  • The competition is open to anyone worldwide, however the iPhone will only be delivered to a UK address.
  • This means that if you live outside the UK but have friends or relatives living in the UK, you can still enter.
  • New! The winner must be willing to deliver a written review with pictures of their new iPhone to Real Fresh TV within 24 hours of receiving it.
  • New! The review must be published first on Real Fresh TV.

Entries can be submitted until 23:59 GMT on Sunday, 18th November. Entries after that will be ignored.

The winner will be announced at 09:00am on Monday 19th November.

    I would watch every possible episode of PRISON BREAK!!! then some heroes and then lost. I love the idea! Bring on the tv shows!

    To help send me to sleep on my long commute to work I’d like to watch back to back Open University broadcasts from the 70′s. You know something about applied maths out to do it.

    Another one for watching Dr Who! Seems kind of right to use technology to view it when so much of the show hinges on future inventions.

    I would look to the future and watch videos on YouTube if I was able to. Thats what should be done with a futuristic device like this. That would certainly fill any of my spare time.

    The TV show that i would like to watch on the iPhone is Prison Break. Although if i had an iphone i would surely look into others, such as: The Office, Heroes and Lost. Being able to see my TV shows on the move is thrilling and something new to me. With and iphone i definitely go to see more tv shows than ever which will lead me to spend more time at iTunes Store than before.

    I would watch anything and everything on the go. No more wasted time in front of the TV at an inconvenient time.
    Download the show you want to watch and watch it on the tube, bus or train. It will look gorgeous on the iPhone, especially on a free one.

    I would watch Twin Peaks on the iPhone…just to prove to David Lynch that his worst nightmare of “someone watching one of his films on a mobile phone”

    actually wouldnt be bad at all with Apple iPhone’s landscape screen.

    I cant afford to buy an iPhone so i stand at the window with my nose pressed against it…i’ve been arrested a couple of times

    I am a friends fanatic and it would be awesome to watch them dudes on a widescreen format as I commute everyday for 3.5 HOURS of boredom through trains. Even though I’ve seen all episodes countless number of times.

    I miss friends. So please vote for me, and in return I will email (thats right I said Email!) everyone a picture of the iPhone if and when i get it. Now thats what I call an offer.

    I would watch most good comedies that I can rewatch when I have a spare half hour on the move, things like South Park, Simpsons, Curb your enthusiasm, family guy etc

    Can i say i think this competition is a big joke “now”!!

    You are really losing your credibility.. I know you want the hits, but this really is not the way!

    Just announce a winner for god sake!

    Thanks for your comment and for your concern for my credibility.

    This giveaway is not purely for hits, though they do help.

    If it were purely for hits, then I would have done what other people running giveaways do online last Monday and just offered to give the iPhone to the author of a randomly selected comment on Friday.

    I’ve never set out to do this and clarified my motivations for running the giveaway here:

    I would love to watch comedy classics like only fools and horses, porridge, steptoe and son. Possibly the tv series i would choose would be the detectives with jasper carrot:)
    its a cool idea anyway.

    What would I watch on an iPhone?
    Well I think it would have to be something epic, like “Long Way Down” which I am really enjoying at the moment, or perhaps something more light-hearted, like “Flight of the Conchords”.
    I am also amazed that no one has suggested “Life on Mars”. I thought that was absolutely brilliant television.

    If I had the wondrous apple iphone I would most definitely watch the “mighty boosh”, the fantastic “peep show”, and maybe a touch of “spooks”.

    for me it would have to be scrubs and the mighty boosh. scrubs is amazing and you can just watch it over and over again, and the boosh is simply hilarious. i know most of the show’s dialogue by heart and its so funny quoting the boosh in random conversations.
